FAQs

What’s the difference between counselling & Psychology?

1

While traditional psychology often focuses on diagnosing symptoms and treating clinical disorders within a medical model, my approach to holistic counseling treats you as an irreducible whole. Driven by a passion for human connection, I view your life through a multi-dimensional, systemic lens—exploring your ancestral history, relational patterns, inner narrative, and somatic experience. Rather than applying labels, we work collaboratively to untangle the hidden drivers shaping your life, empowering you to reclaim your agency and step firmly back into the driver’s seat.

Can I use Medicare? Do I need a referral?

2

Unfortunately Medicare does not cover counselling, and so these sessions are paid privately. You do not require referral, simply send through the inquiry form and I’ll be in touch :)

What days do you work?

3

I work Tuesday’s-Thursday’s, if you can only make it on weekends, let me know in the contact form and I will discuss options further.

What are the steps to coming for a session?

4

Once I receive your contact form, I will send you through a comprehensive intake form which you will need to fill in. Upon assessment I will get in touch and make a time to meet.

Can we have a chat first?

5

I am happy to offer a free 20 min phone call, where you can ask me any questions you have prior to filling in the intake form. If you’d like that, please specify that in your contact form.
